I don't use dvipsk, just plain dvips - and my MakeTeXPK comes from
that distribution. I don't find the path searching additions
particularly helpful in xdvik,in fact I find it more awkward to
install than plain xdvi, but I use xdvik simply to be able to preview eps
figures. (Although its possible that the new release of xdvi will do
that anyway)
I didnt notice anything in the xdvik distribution that said "You must
use the MakeTeXPK that comes with dvipsk, not that which comes with
dvips" - perhaps this should be added to the README.
